Wine for Sesame Chicken

My husband and I recently signed up for this great home meal delivery service called Blue Apron. Each week they send us all of the ingredients necessary to make 3 delicious meals at home. Their recipes are inventive and teach us something new about cooking each week. For someone like me who likes to cook but hates picking recipes and spending hours each week grocery shopping, this service has been a rather tasty and surprisingly affordable game changer.

Last week our favorite meal was Sesame Chicken with Soba Noodles and Snap Peas. The flavors of the sauce stood out more than anything else (peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a touch of brown sugar). The right wine pairing must stand up to those flavors and match the slight sweetness yet still be cleansing on the palate . My pick (one of the top 100 wines of 2013 from Wine Spectator):
